Sourcing Journal reported on ReturnPro's newly released "The GLP-1 Effect" research report, which examines how weight-loss medications are changing apparel shopping and return behavior. The survey found that 65 percent of GLP-1 users bracket multiple sizes when shopping, compared with 30 percent of general consumers, and 43 percent said they return clothes more often than before starting the medication. The report also found that 69 percent of GLP-1 users prefer shopping in-store due to sizing uncertainty, and that men are now bracketing and returning items at higher rates than women, challenging typical retail assumptions. ReturnPro CEO Sender Shamiss was quoted noting that GLP-1 drugs are reshaping body sizes for millions of shoppers faster than most retail systems were built to handle. The coverage highlights ReturnPro's role as a leading voice on how shifting consumer bodies are reshaping returns strategy.
